Pilot series validation

This includes SoNoScout, an NVH tool for two-channel sound data acquisition and analysis. Portable, cost effective and easy to use, the system is ideal for use in any situation where it is impractical or impossible to attach a transducer or tachometer to a vehicle. Its portability enables a technician at a factory to do quick testing of pilot series or sample testing of the production run. If a limit is exceeded, the recorded time files may be sent back to R&D for further analysis.

If a more extensive pilot series testing at several contact points is needed (such as 2 – 8 sound channels, seat rail and steering wheel) the Automotive Test Manager system covers the full testing envelope (run-up/down, fixed speed, transient time data analysis, etc.) in a compact , easy-to-use package that can be configured to match the current testing and reporting specifications.
